행복한 집구경 | Home work : Handbuilt shelter

재밌는 책을 발견했다. 바로 '행복한 집구경'! 로이드칸이 엮고 시골생활에서 나온 책인데, 내 손으로 집짓기를 꿈꾸고 있는 나에게 좋은 양분이 되었다. 집짓기에 대한 다양한 가능성과 의미를 보여주었고, 끊임없이 호기심을 자극해 틈날 때마다 책을 손에 들게 만들었다. 한권 사서 곁에 두고 보고 싶은 마음이 굴뚝같았지만, 책값도 비싸고 책욕심도 그만 자제할 겸 일단 사는 것을 참기로 했다. 대신 가까운 지인이 가지고 있으니 가끔 빌려본다거나, 꼭 필요한 부분은 복사를 한다거나, 필사를 한다거나(이 방식이 제일 힘들지만 바람직하다고 생각한다), 또는 책에 있는 홈페이지 링크를 적어뒀다가 따로 들어가본다거나 하는 등 다른 방식으로 책을 소유하기로 마음먹었다. 책이 없다고 집을 못짓는다면야, 그건 핑계에 불과할테니 말이다.

내 집은 내 손으로~ 꿈, 꼭 이루리라 기대해요. 마침 건축 관련 책으로 다양한 화보집을 찾고 있었는데 당첨이요~^^ 비샤지만 우리 나들목도서관에서 "우리 집은 내손으로 지을 거예요~ 울도 담도 쌓지 않는 그림같은 집~"이라며 아이들이 행복한 꿈을 꾸는데 일조할 거 같아요.
